Day one will focus on the Reiki symbols and techniques for spiritual development and self-treatment.

Day two focuses on techniques for treatment of others, including distant treatment and treatment of animals.

I wanted you to know how very empowering you are and that I think that may be your greatest gift as a teacher. Each time a student was questioning of themselves or their abilities you affirmed for them what they needed most to hear and I found that to be so uplifting…and yes, healing. I also experienced you as humble, sincere, grounded and serene. Your presence, Spirit and commitment to Reiki and to teaching others Reiki, and in particular to teaching others to trust their innate abilities and the wisdom of the animals is absolutely beautiful and restorative. Once again I’d like to send you a resounding “Thank You!” for the work you do in the world.

My husband thought I was insane to travel across the country to study Reiki when there were so many Reiki Masters in Manhattan. I am so happy I made the trip to California. Visiting BrightHaven and having Kathleen as our teacher was an incredible experience. I really feel that studying with Kathleen and the animals has made me a better reiki practioner and has given me a much deeper understanding of the essence of reiki. Kathleen, thanks again for an amazing weekend of classes! It was so nice to get re-energized and to learn so much more. You've helped lift us to the next level and it's so exciting to see where this will lead us! I have been practicing and have felt the slowing down, or rather "up" (raising up) of the energy and it's really interesting to see the connectedness with the wildlife at my lake. Sometimes they get so close I wonder if they can even see me or even know that I'm there!
