Don’t miss this life-changing day at one of the most unique animal rescues in the world: The CARE Foundation in Florida! The Creating Animal Respect Education Foundation is a non-profit, public, exotic animal rescue and wildlife education facility.
Prerequisite: Must be trained in Level 1, 2 or 3 Animal Reiki with Kathleen or one of Kathleen’s teachers; membership in the Let Animal Lead® online community
Deepen, refine and inspire your practice with the help of the amazing exotic animal teachers who call CARE their home. We’ll spend an unforgettable day on location at the sanctuary, focusing on meditating with the animals, sharing our experiences and getting the opportunity to receive in-person support and feedback from Kathleen Prasad. To further support your practice, Kathleen will also be offering a Reiju to all students.
Kathleen will highlight some of her favorite Animal Reiki practices and, through your experiences practicing with the animals, you’ll understand what it means to truly Let Animals Lead®. You can choose to meditate with alligators, bears, tigers, monkeys or any of the over 200 animals just waiting to become part of your Animal Reiki journey in unforgettable ways!
There is no substitute for experiencing the magic of the Let Animals Lead® method with animals, and there is nothing that can rival what it feels like to have a crocodile say, “yes” to connecting with you in the Animal Reiki space! Plus, wild and exotic animals are the best teachers in reflecting back your state of mind to you, unveiling your gifts and showing you the places where you still have to grow 😊
In just one special day, you’ll go deeper into the essence of your Let Animals Lead® practice than you’ve ever gone before, and you’ll take these precious wild animal Animal Reiki experiences with you, forever in your heart!
Christin Burford, Founder of CARE, will also take you on a heartwarming tour with the animals of CARE, sharing the touching stories of the animal residents as well as what she has learned from the various animals by working with them.
Travel Suggestions to attend Animal Reiki Gone Wild Meditation Day:
The nearest airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO). Door-to-door shuttles are available through Concierge Transportation (407-485-5986). There are also many car rental companies located at the airport should you wish to rent a car.
We are working on a group rate at the Hampton Inn and Suites Apopka.
The second hotel we are recommending is the Holiday Express Inn & Suites, which is next door to the Hampton Inn Apopka. The rates are comparable (but slightly higher than the group-rate block we have reserved at the Hampton).
Both hotels offer the following room amenities: mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a substantial daily breakfast (includes a hot item). Rooms are available with two queen beds if students would like to share.
During your stay, students will be responsible for their own meals and should bring lunch with them to the sanctuary each day. Below is a short list of options:
- For people staying at the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express, there is a Chili’s restaurant, an Albertson’s deli, a Cuban café and an Italian restaurant all within close walking distance.
- A Winn Dixie grocery store is less than half a mile away.
