Introduction to the Let Animals Lead® Method

Open to all animal-lovers. This course teaches animal-friendly meditation practices and does not require formal Reiki training (however Reiki practitioners of all lineages welcomed!). Whether you’re brand-new to the concept of Animal Reiki, or an experienced Let Animals Lead® practitioner, this course will shine healing light and inspiration on your relationships with animals.

Animals Should Always Lead Reiki: Your Ethical Blueprint for Honoring Animal Preference

Get the blueprint for an ethical approach to Animal Reiki taught by the Let Animals Lead® method. This class was just what I needed last night. Kathleen always has gems in everything she offers and last night was no exception. The meditation that we practiced together put both of the animals listening with me into a deep state of relaxation. It also altered my state and is so simple that it can be adapted to different time lengths and used sitting, standing or even while walking the dog. I learned so much from this class! The steps to use are broken down and examples are given with pictures and video of results! After this class I tried this method with my animals and they were much more accepting of Reiki, and I can see a difference in them. My indoor feral behaved exactly as some of the animals in the course: Reiki nap, an amazing (and very uncharacteristic) thank you, followed by increasing trust and friendliness. It’s all about keeping the animal’s preferences in mind, and seeing them as equal but different beings. This course has changed the way I practice Reiki!

Kathleen’s teaching is simple and direct. She uses many photos she has taken to illustrate her points very clearly. The pictures are inspirational, too – it is easy to put oneself into the situations she pictures, and that projection helps the student understand the energy relationship in each animal interaction. I feel my practice with animals has been both supported and enriched. I recommend any practitioner or animal lover to take this short course.

I have been practicing Reiki in a local shelter for some time now, and Kathleen offers helpful reminders on dealing with noise and distractions… also, I love the idea of setting up a time to offer Reiki to sanctuary/rescue staff members or other volunteers. I think this class would be especially useful for those who are in the early stages of their animal Reiki practices. Overall, I really liked this class.

I really enjoyed this webinar. I am new to Animal Reiki, though I have done other types of energy healing on animals where I send them energy, instead of holding space, as Kathleen teaches. Volunteering reiki in animal shelters and sanctuaries is such a needed service for both the animals and the humans who care for them.
