Taking back your power…with the help of Animal Reiki

Taking back your power—with the help of Animal Reiki and Kintsugi—can truly transform your life!

The Japanese have a tradition of fixing broken pottery by repairing the cracks with gold, called Kintsugi and it can be a powerful means of taking back our power when we’re feeling like our life is being controlled by outside influences. This helps remind us to embrace our flaws and imperfections and see the difficulties we’ve survived in our journey as those things that make us beautiful. Today I want to remind those of you struggling with chronic illness, depression, anxiety or grief: don’t give up, there is always hope and it’s always possible to heal!

My story of how my Animal Reiki practice helped heal my lifetime burden of severe anxiety is in the July issue of ELLE Magazine Singapore, in an article called “Power to Her,” featuring 3 women who took back power in their lives—a designer, a Reiki practitioner (me) and a yoga teacher.

My favorite quote they included from my interview is, “I always thought that my anxiety made me weak, but now I see that it is the thing that made me the strongest, and I have much more empathy for others now because of my own suffering. In that way, it was a gift to my life.”

Want a step-by-step guide to transforming your struggles into strengths? Take my video course Heart to Heart Animal Reiki today!

And, if you’re grieving your way through loss, Grief to Gratitude coach Carol Banen’s lovely book about Kintsugi and The Art of Living with Grief is an amazing and heart-centered read that will put your grief in an entirely new perspective.

Suitable for all animal lovers who desire to make a real difference in the world, this course will help you heal yourself as you harness the power of love and compassion for the good of animals.

Stay safe, be well and may the animals light your way!

Blessings,
